What Is PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)?
PRP is a non-invasive regenerative technology that utilizes plasma from your own body to enhance tissue healing, it contains many factors essential for cell survival including nutrients, vitamins, hormones, electrolytes, growth factors, and proteins. Platelets from your own blood are used to stimulate collagen, elastin and cellular growth. PRP therapy can be used as a stand alone therapy or in conjunction with other treatments.

What skin/health conditions can be treated with PRP?
- Dull skin
- Sensitive irritated skin
- Loss of volume
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Dark circles and tired eyes
- Acne and post acne scars
- Stretch marks
- Hair loss in male and female
The Procedure:
As your own blood is used, the doctor or nurse will take approximately 5ml of blood from your arm in the same way that a blood test is taken.
Your blood will then be prepared in a centrifuge machine in order to separate the platelet rich plasma (PRP) from the red cells and other blood components.
The doctor or nurse will take the separated plasma and prepares it for injection into the affected area.
